Backup System Design / Deployment

After a period of consultation, I will design and deploy a backup system to ensure the integrity of your software and data on the computer.  We will discuss the potential threats to your data, including, but not limited to:

1. •Fire and other natural disaster
   

2. •Accidental Deletion
   

3. •Hard disc drive failure
   

4. •Virus infection
   

$100 flat fee + parts

(Includes followup testing of functionality and integrity of the backup

    system after deployment)

Second Opinion Service

Someone just told you that it's broken and that it would take three weeks to repair.  Or maybe the last tech told you it will cost more than the cost of a new computer to repair.  Let me take a shot at it!  I will give you the unbiased analysis based on the current situation and tell you whether your computer actually has Lupus.

$40 / event, onsite

Bring A Geek

They say you should bring a knowledgeable third-party with you to make major purchases, such as a house or a car.  Why not for computers and entertainment systems?  This is the heart of what your Friendly Neighborhood Geek can do for you:  Ask the right questions, listen for the company spin, and make sure you get what you need and nothing you don't.

Sometimes we fall into patterns of usage with our systems that we either forget or don't care what we are actually using.  Then we call tech support and feel dumb when they ask us questions we know we should know!  Prevent that from happening!  Let me audit your system and tell you exactly what you have, whom you have it with, and what you need to know about it!
